Kimberly Beaune, CMP, CSEP

Event Storyteller

An accomplished industry professional with more than 30 years’ experience in special events, Kimberly brings a wealth of knowledge to her work as an event producer.  She loves helping her clients tell their stories through curated shared experiences…(aka Events)   After receiving her Hospitality training at Red Deer College, she began her career in hotel sales. It didn’t take long for Kimberly to fall in love with the magic of event design and go on to explore that passion through senior roles in off-site catering, destination management, décor & design and entertainment. While building her foundation in events in Toronto, she also began to create, produce, direct and design theatre projects for her award-winning theatre company Keystone Theatre. As her worlds of events and theatre began to blend, a passion for telling stories through design and event animation grew. Kimberly continued to hone her design aesthetic and established her approach to event storytelling by leading the concept, creation and design of hundreds of unique projects across Canada. She has served as an industry mentor and leader and spoken internationally regarding event design and logistics. She has twice been named one of Canada’s “Most Influential Event Professionals” by Bizbash Magazine and was also nominated by the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Canada East chapter as “Inspirational Planner of the Year”.

As the guiding force behind Creative Twist Inc. she is continuing to help clients and organizations bring their event visions to life...with her own unique Creative Twist. 

Kimberly is deeply involved in the events industry; she has served on the Board of Directors for the Toronto Chapter of ILEA the International Live Events Association serving as Chapter President Twice. Now that she resides in Alberta she is a member of ILEA Edmonton and is currently 2023/2024 National Chair for the ILEA Canada, the governing body that oversees all four Canadian chapters.

Karley Bodnarchuk

Event Coordinator

Karley is a storyteller and entertainer by nature! With over 8 years of experience in musical theatre and sales management Karley has honed her skills in organization, team building, public speaking, and collaboration. She is no stranger to learning new things on the fly and taking every opportunity to try something new. Her love for creative design and the art of entertainment quickly grew into a passion for experiential event management and curating unforgettable moments for people to enjoy.

Since joining the Creative Twist team in 2022 she has assisted Kimberly in producing numerous activations for The City of Red Deer, two annual conventions for Canadian Tire, the grand opening of the Red Deer Resort & Casino and managing the day-to-day operations of the Scott Block Theatre. She also took on the role of production manager, helping a local theatre company produce their annual Shakespeare Festival.

Aisha Geary

Cap Crew Manager

With an extensive background in community service through the Military Reserves, conflict management and administration, Aisha has managed Red Deer’s Capstone Discovery Bus operations since joining our team in 2022. She values hard work, promoting a positive work environment through encouragement and enthusiasm, and having compassion for all. Aisha is always on the move, extending a helping hand wherever and whenever needed!
